TRAGEDY

• THE Ethio-Tigray Genocidal Civil war began on November 3 2020 in the Tigray Region of Ethiopia.

​

• The local Tigray Defence Forces (TDF) are fighting the Ethiopian National Defence Force (ENDF), Eritrean Defence Forces (EDF), the Ethiopian Federal Police, regional police (national guards) from 9 different states, and gendarmerie forces of the neighbouring Regions.

​

• Six countries' governments including Eritrea, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Russia, Iran and Somalia are also involved in supplying weapons, mercenaries, killer drones and man power to the Ethiopian Government.

• Facts about the war

• Total Deaths: 300,000–500,000 People (Including famine Victims, per Ghent University) (for Comparison 14,000 precious human lives were lost in the Ukraine war #istandwithukraine) 

​

• 12,478–50,000 civilians killed 

• Massive rape& sexual violence campaigns committed 

• 3 UN guards and 23 aid workers killed 

•  2,100,000 internally displaced 

• 61,000 Refugees  

• 9 Million people in need of food aid 

• 20,000 missing
